Teaser Tuesday (89)

Teaser Tuesdays is hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. To participate, simply do the following: Grab your current read Open to a random page Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
This week my teaser is taken from A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle-one of my favorite books by one of my favorite authors- and Sela by Jackie Gamber (a great follow-up to in an excellent series). enjoy.

A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle (My reviewb):
"No!" she shouted. "I know our world isn't perfect, Charles, but it's better than this. This isn't the only alternative! It can't be!"
"Nobody suffers here," Charles intoned. "Nobody is ever unhappy." page 133

Sela by Jackie Gamber (my review):
The dragons amber, glittering eyes narrowed. For a moment, Jastin thought his gaze might pierce through his skin. page 178
