I Want to Read It (27): Appointment with Death

I Want to Read It, a hybrid between WLW (or WOW) and what's on my to-be read pile. Well, instead of focusing just on books I would like to acquire, I will be using it to feature books that I just want to read. From the one's I want to buy to the one's sitting on my TBR at home.

Appointment with Death (Hercule Poirot, 19) by Agatha Christie, March 30, 2007 (originally published May 2, 1938). Published by Black Dog & Leventhal. Source: Own.
Among the towering red cliffs and the ancient ruins of Petra sits the corpse of Mrs. Boynton, the cruel and tyrannizing matriarch of the Boynton family. A tiny puncture mark on her wrist is the only sign of the fatal injection that killed her. With only twenty-four hours to solve the mystery, Hercule Poirot recalls a remark he overheard back in Jerusalem: "You do see, don't you, that she's got to be killed?" Mrs. Boynton was, indeed, the most detestable woman he had ever met.

Why: For the life of me, I cannot recall if I've read Appointment with Death, the 19th installment of Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot mysteries. Either way, whether it be a first time or reread, I really have this desire to read it!!

What can I say, the mood for the Queen of Mystery's writing has taken hold of me and I am more than ready to dive back into the thrilling mysteries she penned so long ago.

Have you read Agatha Christie? If so, which title(s) have you read?
