Teaser Tuesday: A Boy Called Bat

Teaser Tuesdays is hosted by MizB of Books And A Beat. To participate, simply do the following: Grab your current read Open to a random page Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This week's teaser is taken from A Boy Called Bat by Elana K Arnold. Enjoy.

A Boy Called Bat by Elana K. Arnold-
If there was this much ruckus at school or the playground or anywhere else at all, Bat would definitely need his earmuffs, But here, the sounds and smells didn't bother him. Even the flickering fluorescent light didn't irritate him very much.

Yesterday, I shared my thoughts on this wonderful and beautifully written middle grade title. I could waylay you here with more gushing thoughts on Elana K. Arnold's A Boy Called Bat...or you could swing over to see my review to find out why I believe you should read it (p.s. it's out today)!!
