DC Comics legends Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman are all featured in the film as well as Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter and the Flash - as they band together to form the legendary super team. Strangers at first, these very different heroes must over come fear and suspicion to form an alliance against a monster so formidable, even the mighty Superman cannot stop it alone. If they fail, the entire planet will be "cleansed" of humanity."

I know this review is a bit late, but I my computer was acting wonky last night.

Justice League: The New Frontier is by far one of favorite movies of all time. The artwork was spectacular; the portrayal of the characters phenomenal.

Flash (why doesn't he have his own movie????) is one of the best characters in the entire DC Universe (I miss Bart Allan), and Hal "Spam in a can" Jordan were hilarious. The only drawback to the movies greatness was the voice over for Batman, nothing personal against the guy that did it, but he just wasn't Batman. They should have gotten Kevin Conroy
For those who are fans of Bones, David Boreanaz does the voice of Hal Jordan.
There was a bit of a buddy-flick to the movie with the friendship between Morgan and Jordan.

Here's a quote from the beginnning of the movie it gives you a slight insight into what they're about to face:
"Like all things on this hurtling sphere, I emerged from the molten center of creation. But mine has been a unique path. Isolated, I developed attributes beyond those of lesser beings. Then the sphere was struck by a vast celestial stone. Black chunks of death filled the skies and the world became a chaotic garden of doom. Soon the sphere began to nurture new kinds of life. And there was one that stood above the rest. Its fragile shell belied its vicious nature. And in what seemed like a heartbeat, these things proliferated in both number and destructive needs. Now they have harnessed the most destructive force. And I, The Centre, have concluded that the sphere must be cleansed of them."

After having the chance of seeing this movie multiple times i wish that I had gotten a chanc4e to read the graphic novel.
Do I recommend Justice League: The New Frontier, yes, yes I do. 'though it does have a PG-13 rating for a reason. Because it is extremely violent.

  1. That is my favorite super hero movie, hands down. And it's so true, Flash is the greatest, though I prefer Wally West to Bart Allen. No offense, but Wally's my flash, not Bart (mayherestinpeace).

  2. 21: I agree Wally West does make a pretty awesome Flash, but Bart Allan was a great Kid Flash.
